The Parents’ Arts Society has two main aims.
The first is to arrange social occasions where parents can meet each other and members of the school staff in a relaxed and congenial atmosphere. We organize events such as London walks, visits to art galleries, opera evenings, wine tastings, theatre trips and a formal Summer Ball every two years. There are also long weekend trips to destinations such as Granada, Dublin and Milan.
The second is to give parents a chance to use the superb educational and cultural facilities of the School. Evening Classes form a regular part of our termly programme. Parents are also welcome to attend the Tonbridge Society Tennant Lecture Series talks each term on a variety of subjects encompassing the Sciences and Politics, as well as the Arts.
We currently have 1,100 members and the majority of Tonbridge parents are active members of the Society – while many decide to stay on as members after their sons have left. We very much look forward to welcoming you to our events.
